monday, occupation forces demolished a palestinian home in nabi samuel village in jerusalem. military bulldozers and soldiers stormed the house and demolished it without notice. they claimed the home had no building permits.

IN THE WEST BANK:

sunday, occupation forces invaded jenin and KILLED ONE palestinian fighter. Osaid Amur, 30, a fighter with islamic jihad's al-quds briagdes was shot dead in front of his family in rummana village. Osaid was walking with his family when he was ambushed and shot in front of his home by a unit of occupation soldiers, possibly special forces. he was shot at close reange, twice in the head and chest.
monday, israeli news paper ha'aretz reported that occupation forces have continued to expand illegal colonial settlements in four areas. the evidence was collected by an israeli group based on arial photographs. the expansions have begun in the givat assaf outpost, ramat gilad, mitzpeh lachish and mitzpeh yitzhar.
monday, occupation forces invaded qalqiliya and seized fourteen palestinians after forcibly entering a number of civilian homes. only 4 of the 14 men's names were released. the following men were taken to unknown locations, Abed Al-Karim Khalil; Abed Al-Karim Iwes, 23, an employee with the national security forces; Ala' Abed Al-Fatah Suleiman Abu-Hamed, 25, an employee with the qalqiliya municipality; and Mu'ath Ibrahim Zahran, 24.

monday, occupation forces stationed at huwarra checkpoint outside of nablus seized two palestinian youths claiming that they were transporting bullets. the two 15 year old boys were taken at the checkpoint and were said to be transporting the bullets out of nablus.
monday, occupation forces invaded doura village, south of al-khalil (hebron) and seized one man. Thaer Nasser was seized from his home and taken to an unknown location.
monday, occupation forces invaded numerous west bank areas including jenin and al-khalil (hebron) and seized 12 additional palestinians.
Haaretz: "West Bank heart surgeon faces possible deportation from Israel"
One of the few open-heart surgeons based in the occupied West Bank said on Saturday he had been detained at Israel's airport and faced possible deportation. After being detained for more than a day at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, Israel granted Dirgham Abu Ramadan, a German cardiologist of Palestinian origin, a one-week extension on his tourist visa and allowed him to enter the country.

friday, occupation naval forces attacked palestinian fishing boats off the coast of deir al-balah in central gaza. occupation gunships fired at the unarmed fishermen from around 2 miles away. numerous fishermen were injured and one boat was destroyed from fire.
sunday, occupation forces shot and injured three palestinians in bet hanoun, in northern gaza. occupation soldiers stationed north of beit hanoun opened fire on a group of palestinians, wounding three.

sunday, the al-quds brigades, the military wing of islamic jihad, launched one home made rocket at ashkelon. the brigades reported it was a continuation of the "red rose operation"
sunday, the al mujahideen brigades, a military wing of fatah, launched two explosive projectiles at the erez checkpoint an crossing in northern gaza. the brigades also launched two home made rockets, one at ashkelon and one at an occupation military position at zakeim. the brigades reported that the operations came in retaliation for the assassination of the resistance leader Usayd Mustafa Umoor.

monday, three palestinian factions carried out a suicide bombing operation in the resort town of eilat in southern israel. the bomber targeted a bakery in the coastal town and killed up to four israeli civilians. this was the first suicide bombing of a civilian area since april 2006 jihad's . islamical-quds brigades, fatah's al-aqsa martyrs brigades and a previously unknown group calling itself the army of believers claimed joint responsibility for the attack. the bomber was named as Muhammad Siksik, 21, from shaja'iyyah in northern gaza. following this, hamas, islamic jihad and fatah issued political statements asserting the palestinians' right to resist the occupation. islamic jihad released the following statement: "This operation, which was carried out by the heroes of the resistance in Um Ar-Rashrash [the Palestinians' Arabic name for Eilat] in the lands of 1948, is coming as an initiative of a different kind to wake up the consciences and to re-aim the rifles against the enemy. "
